Non–emergency patient transportation. Acknowledging the impact of COVID-19, the European Medicines Agency and national Regulatory Authorities implement extraordinary measures and recommend adjusting clinical trials due to trial participants being in self-isolation/quarantine, limited access to public places (including hospitals) due to the risk of spreading infections, and health care professionals being committed to critical tasks.
Arrangement of patient transportation is one of the measures that allow to mitigate the risks.
This may be even more important in some cities of Ukraine that implemented strict measures including termination of public transport (regular buses, underground, etc).
IRM provides for non-emergency medical transportation across Ukraine supporting patients to visit their sites as well as helps investigators to visit their patients at home.
